Does anyone have a schematic that a non electronic type can understand to hookup my spindle to mach 3 using the hobby cnc pro board, I managed to assemble the board, limit and home switches along with e-stop, the drawings on the hobby cnc file board do not make much sense to me.
Thanks

Hi Terry,
Post a link to the drawing of the board you want to hook it to.

I don't know if this will work Brett.

What is the spindle. Is there a controller for the spindle. or is is it just a plug like a router/ dremel.

I have a porter cable edge trimmer router, I think after giving it more thought, I will just use it manually with an after market speed control attached. Thanks for the replies.

A Much easier way to do this is with a solid state relay. It is basically a relay that can take 5 volt from your controller board and switch the router on and off when mach tells it to.
Google: crydom solid state relay. Look for a 20 amp 240 volt. they should be about $30 or so and are very easy to hook up..

Hi Terry,
Did you get it all sorted? Sorry, I had to work most of the weekend. Chad is a great help and very smart.

Thank you for the replies, I have decided to just turn on manually and control speed with router speed control box, I have it set up now so that turning on the router also turns on my shopvac for chips etc.
