Title: roadrunner
Post by: skaha on December 20, 2006, 07:05:31 PM
Hi, guys, just got my machine to run finally, tried cutting the roadrunner for test, machine quits part way through program, always at same spot, is this because I am using demo version or a problem? Also what is your opinion on using the optimization settings, I have some pretty long and ugly lines when I run the driver test?
Thanks for any direction you can give.

What line of code is it stopping on. The demo will run 1000 lines. The optimization is a good thing. I don't run anything other than the bare necessities on my mill PC.

Did you get your steps per sorted?

Run the file again and on the Mach 'Program' screen there is a line counter, is it stopping at 1000?

If so its the demo limit.

Graham.

Thanks for the comeback, I will try it again and see what line it quits on, I don't think it would be anywhere near 1000, I am still trying to grasp table settings etc. Yes I did enter the steps as you suggested Brett, that part seems to work fine.

I am new to this I have a ez-router and ran to the same thing when I first startred. I had to have my license to get past line 1000.
