hi there,

my machine moves to 9.9987 when i tell it g0x10 - can anybody explain this to me?

As I understand, it's the division of the distance by the steps per unit calculation.
Sometimes the desired distance is "inbetween steps" so Mach stops at the nearest step, which in your case is 9.9987.
The other option may of been 10.0025 which is "further away" from your target.

There is a calibration feature in Mach, have you used it?

All depends on whether you mean the DRO reads that or it actually moves that distance by measuring. Either way it is as Derek said, likely to be the resolution as set by your steps per unit. If your resolution is greater than 0.0013 and it is the distance moved you are meaning then your steps per unit or mechanical side of things that are out.

thank you for your replies!. i mean the dro-display. i calibrated my spindles in mach3.
