Title: hardinge chnc 1 retrofit

Hi  every one  ihave a hardinge chnc 1 precsion  1986  i want to change over to mach3 but this machine has  air driven  collet,part shute, parting off tool and
tool changer it is 240 volt  3 phase . I have  researched and i think going to use some parts from cnc4pc but can any one tell me what   XML and  other softwear will be  needed to make this work.

p.s.   i can do the  wiring and  mechanical that is easy hard stuff is COMPUTER PROGRAMS plug and play is fine so please keep it simple thanks :'(

You are likely going to need something like a PLC to get all the I/O you will require. Have a look in the ShowNtell section as a few people have done the Hardinge.
