Title: I have a question about using Mach 3
Post by: atatro on October 08, 2011, 11:44:23 AM
Here is what I need mach to do for me. Can someone tell me if this will work. This is for feeding coil stock into a press.

I need to be able to enter a desired length in for one axis. Once the length is entered the stock will feed to that length then I need someting to send a signal to fire a cylinder on a press. Once the cylinder fires I would need it to feed another part. We could run up to 10,000 parts before I would need this cycle to stop. At that point another length would be entered. It would also be nice to be able to enter the number of parts and have it shut off once it gets done.

Thanks,
Andy

Yes, that could be done with Mach3.
