Title: plung feed rate
Post by: hornby chopper on September 15, 2011, 11:12:54 PM
Hi every one just a small question

is there any way to just type in one line of g code at the  begining of your program for  feed rate of  plung on z axis.

im using free mill and it only sets the plung feed at the same speed for  x and  y feed rate.

i dont wan't to have to gow through  all  96750 lines of  code to change  feed rates

any sugestions or opinion is a greatly welcome and thanks

Sorry the Z feedrate is controlled by Gcode. So it has to be set in the Gcode program.

Normally that setting Zplunge feedrate is controlled from the tooltable in FreeMill. Are you sure you have it set correctly. It just seems ODD that you cannot control the Z plunge feedrate.
