Title: Microstepping on the driver...

If I change the micro step setting on the driver will I need to redo the steps per in mach3?  if so I assume if I say go from 16 to 8, I could divide the current number by 8 and that would be my new steps per?

yes you will need to change them

you would divide by 2 not 8 in that case but yes you will beed to change them
