Title: X Axis Moves When Spindle Is Turned On

Hi all im new to cnc and mach3 i have got a problem with my machine


when i turn the spindle on the x axis wants to start moving all on its own what could make this happen?

my machine also uses a usb connection to my computer as well as the standard port connection. its a chines machine

I would be inclined to look for electrical noise from your spindle or spindle switching system. Any electrical noise on an axis step pin can cause unwanted movement of that axis.
Can you please give us more details of your spindle and controller type ? (photo's perhaps).

this is the picture of a machine the same. the spindle is 0.8kw water cooled and it operates from the motor control box witch is seprate from the main control box.

I can only guess but VFD's can be a major source of noise - check with the instructions that it is connected correctly and that it has a good earth connection and also that your incoming mains supply provides a good earth connection.
