Title: Z axis can`t Autozero the DRO
Post by: kak on June 17, 2011, 03:37:28 PM
It started today. After touching my touchoff plate, Z axis DRO always shows +269 in stead of 0. I mean in stead of 6.5 I set it to move up 6.5 after touching the plate. Auto zero is checked in config/home and limits.
I was playing with the button "set variable position" and "go to variable position" yesterday to see how it works.
Maybe this is the reason, but how can I fix that?

Do you have a Home Off value set?

I`ve found it:-)

The Gage Block High was set to +269.

This "set variable position" button is changing my touchoff plates thickness. I have try a few times. A bug?

Seems to be working fine here, might be an idea to try a standard screenset to see if thats the issue.

Thank you.
Right. Its not a standard screeenset. But the only one I could find with working edge and center finding macros.
Is there another options available?

Daves screenset http://www.calypsoventures.com/home.html is supposedly excellent for that but its not free.
