Title: Port 2 not switching to inputs
Post by: RHOLLIDAY on June 06, 2011, 04:50:10 PM
My port 2 will not read inputs on pins 2 to 9.
The brake out board  checks out OK the pins at the db24 connector go low and high but mock3 diagnostics all leds are on.
Port 2 is checked for inputs.

See if you can change the port type to ECP or EPP, if you cant and it is SPP then afraid you wont be able to use 2-9 as inputs. I had a few PCI ports like that so what I did was tell Mach the PCI card was port 1 and the motherboards was Port 2, all I then had to do was set up the ports accordingly for axis etc and swap the cables and could then use 2-9 as inputs on the motherboards port.
