Title: Uncheck EStop?
Post by: Roscopeeko on June 06, 2011, 12:44:01 AM
I have a working machine, but am in a new house, and in my new house I get a Estop about once every 2 hours. I would like to disable the Estop to see if the Estops stop happening. When I uncheck it in the config, press o.k. and press apply, then come back to see if it is unchecked, it is still checked(on)

How do I turn this off?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

thanks
Rosco

You cannot turn off the Estop in MACH. Are you getting an error when it stops?

Thanks for your reply. I thought i was going crazy!
No error when it stops. Just the estop coming on randomly...average once every 2 hours.

I am currently trying it with the wire not connected to input 12 with no check in the active low colmn.

Haven't had any estops, but wanted to disable the input incase it still picks something up.

So like a said....Is there anyway to disable Estop?  Or disable the input?    :)

cheers

Sounds like you have some noise, best to have all E-Stops, Limits etc wired with shielded cables if you dont already. One thing you could try is increase the Debounce Interval on General Config page, try 2000 at first then work down to as low as you can go.
