I'm new to Mach3. I'm need help. When I typle z1on Gcode my ZAxis travel 10mm instead of 1mm. It also does the same for X and Y axis.

Are yous steps per unit correct?
You can use the axis calibration feature in Mach to adjust your step setting.

Thank you for your fast reply, Rich. Where can I find that feature? How do calculate step per unit?
-
I am using as i write this. Click the Settings Tab at the top of the screen, in lower left side above reset Button click the Calibration button, select the axis, input mach how far you want to move, the
screen will give you an entry which is how far the axis actualy moved and then will calculate the Step per unit and if you like them click to apply. You may want to do this a few times.

I got it. It's now set at 4000. However, the machine is moving very very snow now.

You need to find and set the max velocity & acceleration and in motor tuning.
You can set the jog rate as it defaults to 6 IPM.

Never tried the axis calibration for a rotary ??? ( it's in degrees ) since i have used an indexer attached to the rotary which measures parts of an angle.
