Sweet.
What was the build cost?

The labels look good. How about a peek at the inside?

There are two ways to go about building the pendant. One is to mount everything inside the pendant housing. Two is to remote mount the MODIO in the control box and remote mount the LCD display in the pendant.
The last One I biult has the MODIO remote mounted in the cabinet as I have other chores for it to do also. That makes it easirer to hook up to other devices.
Parts List
1 MODIO board 98.00
1 LCD display 27.00
1 MPG 130.00
2 6 pos Rotary switches 8.00
3 Push Button Swt 6.00
2 Knobs 4.00
1 Case Assy 20.00
1 10' cable DB37 40.00
1 DB37 soldier Con. 3.00
1 Ribbon cable Adapt. 2.00
------------
Total $ 338.00
All the pieces will fit inside the case

I want to build one of these!!! Wow. Just one question: What do the push buttons do?
I am new, but diving in with both feet, so I have 3 cnc machines. (little hobby ones) I'm controlling all three with one PC. (Even though I have three lincenses of Mach, and can only operate one at a time) This little baby would allow me to remotely jog and ???? Love it.

Currently the buttons are not being used until I figure out what I want to do with them. I do a lot of fixture and part setup ( old parts being refurbished, new parts being remachined correctly) and it is very clumsy without the hand pendant to jog between the test points. Thanks goes to

All I had to do was assemble the parts and work out the particulars (:~)= Terry

Are you using a macro for the functions of the rotary switches?
-
Hi Terry & Peter
Anyone know what was used to make the Labels for this Pendent? Looks nice.
Would like to do something similar for my Pendent.
Thanks.

anyone know of a set of schematics for a striped down version of the "Modio Hand Pendant MPG" only without the digital readout like the one shown in the picture above?
