Title: Looking for a stepper drive.....
Post by: rrc1962 on March 13, 2011, 11:15:53 AM
That can accept either analog input (0-10VDC) or serial commands.  I'd prefer analog input.  Something where 5V = stop, 0V = max speed - and 10V = max speed +.  Not even sure if it exists.  Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Not read the specs but Google brought this up top of the list, seems to suggest it can accept analogue input.

Thanks Hood... I also found this one at AD (STP-DRV-4850).  Looks like it can accept analog for speed control but still requires TTL input on the direction pin, which I can probably work with.

As a side note...Yikes...Omega is awfully proud of their products. :)
