Title: My "Bat Desk" is almost done!!!! :) :) :)
Post by: poppabear on February 28, 2011, 07:42:27 PM
Greetings Campers,

Got some pics of my new "Bat Desk"!!!! :)

This is my "R & D" station.... It has 2 DL06's hooked up in a 485 drop network (that includes a GS1 drive/spindle motor, and a Sure Servo drive/motor),
the master PLC has 2 HTRIO modules to drive 2 servos that control the swap arm, and caracell of a Read-A-Head ATC, plus an analog module that has
a non-485 0-10v spindle control output option, and analog inputs for FSOVR, SSOVR, JSOVR and a spindle temp monitor. The master and slave plc is hooked to
Mach3 via TCP Modbus. I hooked a Touch Monitor HMI that hooks to the Master PLC to monitor/diagnose peripheral IO of the machine, plus notify the user of a PM schedule and recipes for auto oilier and other routines. It has connections for various PoKeys configs, MPG10, Yaskawa, MP-03, other pendants, a smooth stepper, a galil motion card, and the new Centiped (you can see it on the left table top). I have some other minor details left to do, like add a separate MPG to the button/knob panel on the right, and put the secondary monitor on a swing arm. I added two pull out "Arm Rest", and added a book shelf on top of the Hutch.....
I even put 220v power on a breaker going to it, with LOTS of power strips, 5vdc, 12vdc, and 24vdc PS...

I think this desk almost pegs the "Geek Meter"......

I think the beer dispenser in the lower right drawer.

If you look closely, I can see what's in it.

Ok,

here is some close(er), up pics......  had to remove the Bat-Beer dispenser, wife found it, darn that Cat Women...

in the GS-1 drive cubby, you can see a lone MPG that I will be moving/mounting on the button/knob panel below it.

What would be scarey, is to next see a pic of you sitting there with a black cape and a pointy ear mask.
