I think that if it was rotary engraved in wood it would have to be filled with a contrasting colour to show any detail but the image may be best suited to plasma cutting perhaps ?

What problems are you having with your machine ?
Can we help at all ?

This image has been pyro engraved onto MDF.

wow it looks so good your machine can do it all vinyl cutter and pyro engraved nice work Tweakie, i will put another gcode to see if you can post a video of your machine cutting the design , the problem is that i thought a cnc was like a vinyl cutter,(i have a vinyl cutter and now a cnc ) that you make the design and send it to the cutter  an the machine will know where the design was on the origin  :-[ I'm reading on the forum to get more info on the program mach3 and cnc set up ii will put the link to my problem. thank you for your time and for sharing your designs.

You purchase a program like CamBam, import the dxf file, then the program generates the code based on your defined cutter and how you want to machine it.

Looks like each letter is contained n a box. The box outline seems to have a beveled edge, thus you would use a tapered cutter to do the box.
Then use an endmill to do the inside / pocket of the letters and the same for the outside of the letters. I would think that Vcarve pro has the capabillity to the above and there are videos for it on their site.
LOL,
RICH

You might have to tweak the Speeds and Feeds for your needs. But gives you a completed part.

Hello,

which program you use that it have exstansion *.nc.
There are many programs that produce gcode with the *.NC extension. The file itself, is actually a text file (and can be opened and edited using MS Notepad). The default gcode extension of files in Mach3 is *.tap Although it too, can load and run text files, as long as the gcode they contain is in the correct format. I use MeshCAM Art to produce the gcode for 3D carvings (which outputs the files as *.NC) this makes it easy to distinguish which files are 3D sculptures (*.NC), or simple cut-out programs (*.TAP). Hope this helps you in understanding the differences.
Thank you for answer.

Best regards, G
