please excuse my stupidity but when i try to view a dxf file it tells me windows photo viewer does not support this ext. bla bla bla. looked in my programs and i dont even have it. duh. what is a good avenue to take to be able to get this done. thanks

You usually need a CAD program to view a .dxf file. download a free one, like A9CAD.

thanks. my cad is on a comp. not connected to the internet.

Put your dxf files on a flash drive so you can view them in the puter with the cad program..

thought about it and said i'll just download that freebee(A9CAD) and it works great. but yes i will put dxf on my flash and procede from there. looking for a 4 by 8 router sys. to use vector art aspire software on cause i'm really interest in doing larger pieces like fireplace mantel systems. i think they would sell up here in the north. have to scope that venture out a little more.
