Title: hex wizard
Post by: tjstamp on January 09, 2011, 10:01:00 AM
i am doing a job that has basic operations of milling but on 3 of the holes it requires a hex bolt to be flush with the surface. to do this i have to make another program in bobcad at the postions of the holes and let it be done. pain in the rear to put and take the parts just for this. is there somthing i'm missing in wizzards so that operation can be added to the main program? thanks tom

The wizards allow for individual machining tasks to be done.
I don't use Bobcad, it's a cam program, and  figured that you should not even need to use a wizard to define the machining and generate the code.

it is so easy to use the wizzards and i'm new to bobcad, so i'll just dive into it some more. need more practice for it is quite a learing curve.
