Title: G code causing un smooth and rough movement.
Post by: jimbuffett25 on December 29, 2010, 02:32:16 AM
I am new to Mach 3 software I recently purchased a Bridgeport Mill with a Logitrol 7 Amp EXTRA DUTY 1/10th Microstep
Stepper Motion Controller. I have ran all the setup such as the pin inputs and outputs the motor tuning. The problem I'm having
is the machine will home smooth and jog smooth at any rate but when I try to enter a G code in the media screen with a feed
rate the motion seems to be un smooth and rough. I have tried adjusting the motor tuning to compensate the rough movement
with no success the machine ran good without problems until the hard drive went bad in the pc.
Machine setup
10000 Steps Per Revolution
Maximum speed for the motor 28
Acceleration/Deceleration rate set
Kernel Speed 25,000 Hz I have also tried 45,000 HZ
Any suggestions would be welcome and appreciated Thank you.    jim_buffett25@hotmail.com

Are you sure it is not just that you have CV turned off or not set correctly?
