Hi i new to this.....
i could make without any problem the roadrunner sample, but when i import a 3d object from autocad to lazycam,
the generated toolpath is not what i expected.....what i'm doing wrong, mach3 is capable of doing 3d objects with four axis (I ithink so!!!)
there is another software tat i could use to make the 3d objects.....any help????

LazyCAM is 2D only. You need 3D CAM software to use 3D models.

cncboricua,
You can pay all sorts of money for different 2.5D software packages but until you decide exactly what you require then perhaps the free version of CamBam is worth looking at http://www.cambam.info/downloads/ . If you like it then perhaps the full version may be worth purchasing of alternatively both Gerry an I have in the past used DeskProto and MeshCam, both of which, I think, still have time limited trial versions to try. There are some more details in this thread http://www.machsupport.com/forum/index.php/topic,13766.0.html.
Tweakie.
