Post by: piv on October 26, 2010, 11:28:01 PM
Has anyone got DSPMC, DSPMCaxisWorks and Windows7 working together?

Ive tried, it installed but doesnt run. I dont know if its a general problem or something specific for me.  It works Great on XP.

I have Win7 and Mach3 with the DSPMC working great.
I don't think I have tried axis works yet.

If I get a chance I will.

Have you tried compatibility mode for axis works?

Ive tried compatability mode for Axisworks but didnt seem to do anything.  Its a customers new PC so it could be anything.  Mach3 starts OK, ive got to go back to the machine with the actual physical DSPMC on it to see if it works on that.  Plugin is ther OK I think.

Thanks
Mark

If you are using the dspmc with Mach3 just download the latest plugin. The one that does all the tuning inside Mach3. This way you don't need axisworks.

Just go to the Mach3 configure tab, then configure plugins, then select dspmc.

hi Mark,

Mike is right!  you dont need to run axisworks any more.  the new plugin has integrated axisworks.  so if you can run mach3, you are all set.

Rufi

What servo drives should I use?  I am looking at either the Granite Devices, http://www.granitedevices.fi/index.php?q=servo-drive-vsd-e

or the Mitsubishi MR-E-40AG series

Is there a better choice?
