Title: Pulsing Too Fast
Post by: ranchak on September 29, 2010, 09:06:12 PM
I ran the driver test and I get the message Pulsing Too Fast. I looked in the documentation and did a search and I could not find anything to tell me how or why I am getting this message. I'm running a kernel speed of 25kHz. I am also running an onboard PP port, should I have an external PP card?

Do you have a smooth, flat line in the display, or a lot of spikes?

Is Mach running when you do the driver test?
Even if you think it is not check by going to task manager (Ctrl Alt Del) and see if its running under the process tab.

I checked and Mach was not running. I have a smooth flat line.

That is not good as your pulserate is quite a bit faster (nearly 4KHz) than the 25KHz it is supposed to be, try doing the optimisation steps detailed on the downloads page.
