Title: Reversing Axis
Post by: awilcox on September 23, 2010, 10:00:13 PM
All,

My frustration is at an all time high. >:(

The latest problem centers around my z-axis reversing direction after each push of the jogging key. All was well
a week ago and I was making the final connections of my limit switches and things went south. I had run the break-in program 3-4 times
prior to this setback. I rechecked my connections and all appears to be fine. Has anyone experienced this and if so, what or where can I look to solve this issue.

You can reverse the axis by going to Config menu then Homing and Limits.
If you still have problems please attach your xml.

Hood,
Thanks for the suggestion. The axis reverses randomly each time you press the +Z or -Z button. I will post the xml this evening.

Sounds like you have a bad connection on the Z Dir wire or you are getting noise picked up by it.

I did run my power for the router in the same power track. I will unplug the cord and see if it makes a difference.
Good suggestion!
