I have a request to help convert an old VyTech router, 5x10ft table to use Mach. The router has Copley Controls amplifiers. The amps are not a current part number for Copley, but were an OEM version. I think they are +/- 10v input
Has anyone seen one of these machines?
Would a dspMC be a good choice for running it?

Hi Ron,
I would say that it is a great way to drive +-10v analog amps. Remember I own 2 of them.
Since the advent of V2, you now get 96 I/O plus 8 encoder inputs and all the great features.
If you get the version with analog inputs it is a snap to do the feedrate and spindle speed overide. You can also use an anlaog Input to monitor spindle load if your spindle drive has an analog output that relates to load.
Let me know if you have any questions or need help.
Mike
BTW my BTC-1 has Copley amps.
