Hello, can someone please tell me how can I use two MPG, or maybe someone knows how to configure the pad with KEYGRABBER or plugin?
Because I have to control two axes.

Normally you use one MPG and use a selector switch to choose the axis. You can also use another selector switch to set the movement.
I am not sure which pad you are talking about but I use a logitech gamepad setup thru keygrabber and it works well.

Thank you for your reply Mike,
Normally when I use LPT I have no problem with keygrabber but when I use DSPMC I can't moving axes but I can move things like: feed rate or spindle speed.

Mach3 can read more than one MPG at a time. You probably what to assign MPGs to different axes. These MPGs can also come through different sources, like PoKeys or ModBus.

Perhaps is another way without buying modules like PoKeys?
DSPMC actually have three pairs of inputs for connecting MPG, or only one is supported?
Maybe someone knows why when DSPMC is connected gamepad don't supported axis?

I have the Logitech gamepad setup on my DSPMC powered mill. Works well.
If you have a real MPG(encoder) then you can hook it up to the DSPMC and use a selector switch to pick an axis.
Page 35 of the manual covers this. Mach3 supports more than 1 MPG but I am not sure if the DSPMC does.

I have one MPG and it works with DSPMC but I have no idea how to set up another MPG to make it work :)
Priority for me is that both axes were supported at the same time (X and Y), the best solution for me is to run the gamepad because it is more practical.
Unfortunately, I do not know what I'm doing wrong, when I use the LPT axis works but when I use DSPMC I have no control over the axes even though the same settings in keygrabber :(
Thanks for any help and sorry for my English :)

If Mach3 supports Rufi is pretty good at supporting the same stuff out side of the more exotic things.
If you want, email me your keygrabber file and your XML and I will take a look.
I did nothing special to make keygrabber and the gamepad work.
I don't have the LPT driver installed on the computer that could be the difference but I don't know.

Thank you for your reply Mike,
Maybe some plugin to handle joypad work, as you say mike "I did nothing special to make keygrabber and the gamepad work."
I do not know what I'm doing wrong :)

Over the next few weeks I will be setting up my second DSPMC powered machine.
I have a MPG and the gamepad so if you want contact me in a week and I will see what I can come up with.

Maybe someone have configuration files to handle DSPMC and gamepad?
-
So as I see no one has such ridiculous problems like me:)
Mike if you have time take a look at your personal message

Hi Mike, are you using analog joysticks in your gamepad to control milling machine ?
-
No,
I use the 4 numbered buttons to control the axis and I use the D-pad to select different pages in Mach3. I use the 2 small buttons for the Z axis.
I did check my PM but totally forgot to send you anything.
I don't like the joystick for axis motion as they are too easy to bump.

Hi Lolkiwielkie,
have you tried my JoyPad game device plugin - it works with most game devices, have four axes and support SmoothStepper.
Maybe it works with DSPMC - I would like to know :)
It is free and can be downloaded from http://www.machsupport.com/forum/index.php/topic,16140.0.html (http://www.machsupport.com/forum/index.php/topic,16140.0.html)
