I can't help since i don't use Windows 7.
But will watch for a reply / answer to you  so it can be put in the manual.

I just tried it here.
When win 7 gave the error message I said OK make a new file.
Then I posted again to the file just created. The post is completely blank.

It does appear to be calculating the path it just won't post.

Hi, Look to see if the posted file (G code) is in the Mach folder with the name you assigned to it.

Hi Kees,

Your quite welcome. Back in April of this year, (Art's last dedicated block of time) we discovered this

issue with win7. Look at page 139 of the LT general posts for some other suggestions, on how to make

posts to notepad.

Cheers,

Bill

Here are some notes from LT page 139. Can someone using W7 fix the text so it provides clear answer to the posting problem.
( make note of the version you are using as i think that the home version won't allow you to run in XP mode......could be wrong as  i don't use it )

Thanks,

RICH

Hi Rich,
Any version of win7 will allow you to run in compatibility mode. What you can't do is run the xp emulator or whatever it is called. Some programs won't run in compatibility mode and need to run in a winXP environment.

I touched up the file as you asked.
I am attaching it so it will help anybody that needs it.

Dennis,
Same as it was last year. Haven't seen a lot of new users and thought that would not be the case after the article on it
was published.
