Excellent Amir.
Looks like a lot of work but it could be a very nice machine.
Tweakie.

A good looking design, Amir!
I think I would use solid plates and bars for the body, rather than profiles - gives more rigidity and better absorbs vibrations. Think it would be a benefit for cutting aluminium.

thx guys.
build processes for X and Y axis has ended. Soon I attach a photo of them.
BUT i am unsure about the axis Z. i think profiles Not a good option. thx Dan.

Looking nice so far. How big is it going to be. I've been planning to build one for quite some time. Maybe your project will be the catalyst for it. What plans for the spindle do you have.

Nice visual effect on the last photo. How did you do this? Used a manual zoom lens? Or was it unintended?

i change design for Z axis.
I've decided that use DC motor (180V ,5A ,3300RPM ,1.2HP ) for spindle.

Looking nice, Amir. I wish I had a surface grinder that large! Those ball screws look very familiar, may I ask where your getting them? Thanks for sharing your project with us.
-
thx Sam
I dont remember where I talk about the ball screw even in the picture ;D
BUT re ballscrew:
All equipment used in this project is related to the chip Mounter machine.
ballscrew used in X and Y is 14mm and pitch 2mm , for Z is 16mm and pitch 10mm.
all LM Guides is IKO and ballscrews is THK.

Feedrate 500
Ball nose 2mm
Stepover 0.1mm
Dimension 70*50mm
about 1h 20min

Looks great, and thanks for sharing.
Like Tweakie, I would love to see more photos of the final build of the machine.
Also, please wear safety glasses so you can keep building the things you love!!!! ;)
