Title: ArtCAM-Mach3-4th axis postprocessor

Hello, i am trying to  get a 4th axis toolpath in Mach3. i made a ring in ArtCAM,i made g-code by using few postprocessors(for mach2,mach3mm,model master4th axis  rotary...) but none of them made a rotary toolpath in mach...the g-code contains A axis but on toolpath screen its flat or its not anything like it should look....   anyone can help?thank You???

There are some settings which need to be set in Mach to display the toolpath correctly.

First Mach will only display rotary toolpaths for A axis.  Not B or C.

Goto the Toolpath setup menu.  Check "A Rotations Enabled"  and select the axis which it rotates about.

If the toolpath has Z axis zero at the centre of rotation then the toolpath will display correctly.

If the toolpath has Z axis zero is at some other setting then you must enter the appropriate value in the "Rotation Radius" DRO, which is found on the settings page.
