Title: motors not reponding right

Hi all im new here i have a delmia if i jog all my motors the run great the move smoothly the run 1" for 1" but once i run a g code and start a cycle the act up the make noise but no movement and then the move a little . anyone have any ideas ?

That you chose the correct step per unit

i think These values were selected high level.

ok so that has fix the problem thanks alot manmardam  ;D all i need to do now is slowly bring up the numbers and find the balance point  :)

result :)

there will come a point where they start to misbehave, just back away from this by a few % and all should be well.

repeatability testing is next, sending the axes on a long journey around the table and making sure they return properly to where they started, but since I found the happy maximum speeds and accelerations for mine this has not been a problem.
