Dear Mach3 Users,
We are pleased to announce the production release of DSPMC version 2 hardware.
Some of the key improvements:
8 Channels Servo Analog Outputs, Range ±10V, 16-Bit Resolution
8 Differential Quadrature Encoder Inputs. 32-Bit Resolution
8 Step and Direction Channels. Up to 2MHz Step Output Frequencies (Available soon with software upgrade).
8 Channels Analog Inputs, Range ±10Volts, 16-bit Resolution (7762M Only)
4 Mhz Encoder Input frequency. Encoder resolution multiplied by 4 thru Hardware
96 Digital I/O (64 Inputs & 32 Outputs)
For more information on DSPMCv2, please consult the user manual available at http://www.vitalsystem.com/dspmc (http://www.vitalsystem.com/dspmc)
Thank you

Hi!
We try to use Stepper method for Controlling output source without any results. If I change Output Source to DAC and try to run test at least I get following error put nothing with Stepper mode.
Any ideas?

There is step and direction channels available soon and post is 2010 and I use latest Mach3 plugin.
Firmware version:
System: Rev: 7762 / 6.36, FPGA: 4710, ID: 16DD6
and downloaded firmware from vital systems:
Revision: 0629/7762
Wich one is newest?

sorry the stepper outputs are not yet available. we do want to add stepper outputs, but I dont know when it may happen.
We will be releasing a new board named HiCON with step/dir outputs. Will let you know when it is released.

Will the HiCONN have analog outputs? Can you tell us the differences from the DSPMC board?
Thanks
