Title: mach cant remember z axis reading

I am new to the board and mach3. I am using the ajax plugin to control my motion controler. My question is when I turn my controler on all the dro remembers what positions I was in except for the z axis. I know the encoder is working because I can turn the motor shaft and the dro works. I just loose my reading if I reboot. Thanks for any input. Scott

Do you have "persistent dros" in the axis section of general config?

Not many people using the Ajax/Mach combo yet and its probably an issue with the Ajax plugin so likely your best option would be to ask them. If you get a solution from Ajax please post back with the answer as it will help others in the future as I am sure it will become a more popular option.
