Title: Limit to # of lines
Post by: bzepeda on April 05, 2010, 01:29:05 AM
Hello I have code that is 10K plus lines. Mach3 only loads about 4800 at a time. I have to change g-code when it arrives at the 4800th line. (erase all the previous lines and reload the code.

This is horrible.
Please help.

Are you using the licensed version of Mach or just the Demo version ?.

Demo. :( just saw that... strange I thought it came with all the software necessary. We purchased the premium software package from Tormach.

You are the second person to mention that recently, it seems that Tormach CNC are not being completely up-front in the description of their software packages.
Looks like you now need to purchase the Mach license.  :'(

Looking into this further, I may have been a little hasty in my earlier posting.......

It appears that the Mach loader does not automatically install the license file. Search your Tormach software for the file 'Mach1Lic.dat'. If it is there, then copy and paste this file into the Mach3 folder. Upon restart you will then have the licensed version of Mach3.
