when I do round pocket cutting, is not round anymore.
I think X axis is the problem.
if I test x 0 and x 50 and x 0 (repet) I found out it shift.
my question, how to narrow the probelm, is it the motor ? or the controller ?
how so find out the easiest way ?
should I test anything ?
thankyou for your help

Drop the Velocity and Acceleration for the X in motor tuning to half of what you have and see if it then works, if it does then try increasing until you have issues again.

Hood,
I have a probl;em, same problem, after I decrease the velocisty and accl. last time wiorks fine, but now it happening again.
but only at X axis.
I suspect the motor or the controller, do you have any idea ?
the Y axis seems pretty ok.
how to test that the motor is not getting weak ??
and how to tested ?
Help please....

calico, when I jog an access to a point and back and there is a shift, I usually consider that to be backlash.
Do you have reason to believe there is no backlash? If you're running ballscrews with double nuts, perhaps one came loose and backed off the preload.
If you're sure this is not backlash, it could be lost steps due to motor tuning, or it could also be noise.
Those are my thoughts on it.
Best,

Check out the coupling (however you get the power from the motor to the screws/gears) and check to make sure that everything is properly tight. If you have anything loose and slipping no tuning or other adjustmants will eleminate the problem. Check all mechanical connections int you drive and then go to motor tuning.
