First let me state that I am new here and have not read all the posts ...
Any idea why my dxf doesn't create any toolpath?

Works here in LazyTurn.
Did you read the manual on how to install LazyTurn?
Hmm....did you select a tool and then select a rough or finish pass?
It dosn't do it automaticaly..... ;)

As far as I can tell, LazyTurn is installed OK. It works just fine on the sample files and several others found here on the forum.
I tried multiple tools and both rough and finish pass.
All mine would do is face (is that the correct term?) the material.

Well then, it seems that LT is working correctly for you if the other dxf's are working. So it may be a matter of how you are defining and using the tools.

Do you mean a rough cut? You can't do facing / cutting of the stock face.
When you say all mine.......do you mean the drawings or DXF's that you are creating for import into LT?

I think I have the answer ... It appears that the default tools need some changes to make the desired cuts.
I will have to reread the tools section and define my tools better.
Thanks for the help.

Ken,
That's what i like to hear "re-read the tools section" .
What or is there something missing in the manual that didn't come across?

OK, I got my tools defined correctly and the tool paths show correctly.

Why does LazyTurn put this very deep plunge into the code?

Ken,
I don't know, you would need to ask ART.
The finish pathing is still being developed. May need to go to origin for the final calc's to be done. ???
It not realy cutting material.

Since I am turning between centers ... that move would be very fatal to my machine and work piece.
