Running mach 3, windows xp home.. For some reason when i am moving my mouse around without stopping the steppers work perfect.. If i stop moving my mouse the steppers get choppy, miss steps, turn the opposite way, untill i move my mouse again.. any help would be great..

I have also noticed that on the diagnostics screen that my pulse frequency is normally around 5000.. when i move my mouse it climbs to 24059..

You probably have some software that's interfering with Mach3.
24,000-25000 is what you should normally see.

I have changed my freq to 75KHz which kicks it up to 25000 and same issue.. i move my mouse and freq climbs to around 60000 and they run fine...
-
Wen you change to 75Khz, you should be seeing 75,000, not 25,000.
Run Drivertest.exe in the Mach3 folder.

I have run driver test a bunch of times.. looks like the Rocky's... I load special driver runs even worse.. I did a fresh copy of windows to limit any junk that i had and it still shows up..
