Title: how to change the jog mode multi and step

when I start mach3 the job function is running perfectly I can change between the multi and step but when I load cnc file I can no longer change between the multi and step it is always in the step mode. What is wrong with this?

Are you meaning on the flyout screen? You should be able to change jog with code loaded.

Hi thanks for the reply,

when the code is loaded i can no longer change to multi it only sits at the step on the job window

Are you meaning with a MPG?  I think you only have the choice of continuous or Step if its keyboard jogging but with a MPG you have Velocity, Step and MultiStep options and all should be able to be changed when code is loaded.
Can you attach your xml please.

I can not select the continuous, it only sits at step in jog windows after I load the file

Ok you have a non standard screen and I am guessing that may be the issue as I have just used your xml and changed screen so I can view. I loaded the standard 1024.set and loaded some code and I could change the Jog mode from Step to Continuous.

yes this only happends when I load certain file, not all file that I load do this. could it be only because of my certain file that I load into mach3?

Attach one of the files that cause the problem and I will see if I can find the problem.

ok thank you I will try to find the other file because the one I know is about 36mb nc file, I surely can not upload here.

Just tried your xml and your code and I can change between Step and Constant jog no problem. Try the standard screenset to see as I think that may be your problem.
