Title: 3D Drawing software

Hey folks.
What kind of programs do you guys use to design parts?
Ive been playing with Alibre and like it alot , but it wont export to a file type that Mach3
can Import.
.STP .IGS .SAT and .STL are my only options .
Still looking at converters.

Alibre can export 2D .dxf files. You need to create a drawing of your part, start with a blank sheet, the export the drawing as a .dxf

I have the free version of Alibre :)

So do I. Mine will export 2D .dxf's. (But, I was one of the first 100,000, and you may not have that option, but I'm pretty sure all the free versions do).

Guess all Ive ever made was 3d models.
