Title: How to zero machine coord. - no limit sitches
Post by: Phil mailloux on March 04, 2010, 08:30:17 PM
Hi,

I'm setting up Mach for the first time after having finished building my table.

X,Y = 650mm, 1300mm

When I move all my axis to o position, my machine thinks it's at +947, +230 How do I change the machine coordinates?

I watched the videos and read he book, can't find the answer. The tutorial videos explains how to do ti with limit switches. I don't have any on my machine. Can I zero them anyway? I don't want the machine to stop working in the middle of a project because it thinks its reached the end of the table when it didn't

I think all you need to do is click on the buttons next to the DRO's, then click on reference all home button just to the left, then click on the Machine coord's button below the DRO's.

Of course this on the Program run page, the opening page.

Look at config menu then homing and limits and make sure that Auto Zero is chosen, then when you press Ref All button that will automatically set the position you are at to machine coords zero.
