Hello
I'm having trouble with my G code display screen. Although the Mach is going through each line of the G code, the display screen is stopping in the middle and not showing that it is going through each line of G code. The problem is that about every 30 runs of the program, it is turning an output on at the wrong time resulting in my air cylinder getting smashed. I have this Mach system set up to the same general configuration as another machine and I'm not experiencing this problem. Is there something that maybe I do not have configured correctly? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks

Cant think of anything it could be, maybe you could try lowering the lookahead to see if that helps.
Also have a look at CPU usage and see if thats abnormal.

I did change the lookahead from 20 to 1 and it still does the same thing?
-
What is the CPU usage like?

I dont know how to check,
-
If it would help I will go buy some more ram for it
-
Ctrl Alt Del all at the same time, will pop up the task manager and then go to performance tab.

What are the specs of the computer?

dell, intel pentium 4, windows xp, 20 gig hard drive, 750 megabite ram
-
handy trick, it hits 82%
-
82% wow, should only be a few % on a machine like that, look at the Processes tab and see what the heck is using all that CPU.

Mach3.exe, nothing else seems to be even running. Its hitting 100% on its rapid travel back to zero.
-
Something weird going on there, even on my pico board the CPU only gets to about 30-40%
What model of Dell is it? Not a fan of Dells but even they shouldnt be that bad ;D

Well i found out were all my CPU usage was going, in an attempt to try anything i turned my kernel speed all the way up.
For what ever reason it does helps to keep my outputs from turning on when there not suppose to. humm
IDK

So if you turn the kernel back down to what its meant to be it lowers the CPU but makes the outputs turn on more frequently? Does the code window also stop when the kernel is lower?

code window?

code window?
Well I took it thats what you were meaning when you said
