xml is your config file, you will find it in the Mach3 folder, it will be called Mach3Mill.xml if you are using the standard profile, if you have a custom profile then it will have the name of the custom profile.
You will need to copy it to your desktop and rename it to woodenbug.xml or something like that as the forum will only accept a file name once and Mach3Mill will already have been attached.

You need to use the additional options button on the reply page to attach the xml.

Hood, I appreciate your help. But I am about as dumb as a stump when it comes to these machines and pc's.
I saw where it has an icon that says wr-408. Are you saying to copy that and rename it?

As I said above use the additional options button on the reply page and when you press choose you will be able to browse your drive to the correct xml and attach it.
If it is named wr-408 then it is likely that you wont need to rename unless someone else has posted a file with that exact name.

Have a look on the diagnostics page, are the LEDs for the X axis limit and home switch on?
They are here but I have no idea why except that it has something to do with the port address of DF00
Double check that is the correct address for your port.

I checked the limit switch and it is good. The settings seem to be correct all the port is 1 and the pin is 11.

Do you see the LED for M1-- Limit and M1 Home lit on the diagnostics page when the limit is not activated?
Do you see these LEDs change state when you activate the switch manually?
Is the parallel port that you are using an onboard port or a PCI card?

It is a pci card. Yes when I activated the switch last night they all went red.

Have a look in device manager at the port resources and check you have the correct address in.
If you can double check the LEDs on the diagnostics page as they should be yellow when activated, so if you see yellow for the two mentioned above when they are not activated it means something is wrong.

I dont know, just it seems the address you have there makes pin 11 active when it should not be, I am not sure why.
If you go to Start button on windows then up to control panel on the right then in control panel go to system then hardware then device manager. You then go down to Ports (com&lpt) and double click on the printer  port and have a look at the resources tab and tell me what the first 4 digits are.

O K I went to resources and found this;
I/O Range DFOO-DF07
I/O Range DEOO-DE07
It is parallel port (LPT3)

Yes that seems correct, you have DF00  entered for it.
I am not sure why but as soon as I enter that address here the limit/home switch set to pin 11 show activated.
Afraid I dont know why or how to fix :(

Can you rewire to another pin if you have one spare, or even if your switches are normally closed you could wire them in series with one of the other axis switches and use the same pin.

Wish I had been of help, I just dont know why its acting up but definitely seems to be to do withthat address as I can enter that address in any profile I have here and as soon as I do pin 11 goes high.
