On one of the screensets I use, it seems the toolpath doesn't update (i.e. show progress of the work). However if I switch to another screenset (view/load screens) and then switch straight back again to the problem screenset, the toolpath display works fine. This has to be done each time a new part program is loaded. Any ideas for a fix?

Not seen that myself but maybe try doing a regen and see if that helps.
Is this with a custom screenset? if so and you want to attach it I will see if I can replicate.

Nope - regen doesn't do it.
It's the THC300SM3 screenset that comes with a custom xml from Jim Cullins at www.soundlogicus.com for plasma (site seems to be down this morning).
To try replicating you'll need both the xml and the set. The xml with any other set works and the set with any other xml works - it's just the two together that seem to have the problem.

Can you also attach the bitmaps for the screenset please.

OK found the problem, go to Toolpath from Config menu and change it to look like the screenshot, should work fine now.

Up for another? - why does the Y DRO start at -10? every other profile/set I use has all the zeros.

Doest seem to do that for me, well that is if I am understanding you right. If I start it and RefAll the DROs zero in machine coords like they should and in work coords they show whatever the offset from Machine coords is.

if I start any other profile than THC300SMC and do nothing else, both machine and work coords are defaulted to zero. If I start THC300SMC then machine coords are zero but Y work coord is -10.

Not seeing that here with your xml, what I see is X is -2.55 and Y is -3.442.
If I zero and shut down and restart it will be zero as Machine coords are zero and offset is zero.
Have a look in your fixture table and see if G54 hasan offset for the Y.

G54 was the culprit (I don't explicitly use offsets so didn't think of looking there).
