Title: How to attach 24v relay to mach3
Post by: omegasea21 on February 04, 2010, 04:18:20 PM
Hello.

I have a breakout board and a modbus, how do I get mach 3 to activate a 24v relay? It just needs to turn on/turn off.

How do I attach the relay to the breakout board?

Thanks

Are you meaning your relay has a 24v coil? If so then best to get one with a 5v coil and use instead or you could get a 5v coil relay and switch the 24v coil with it.
There may be better ways to do it though.

CNC4PC sells a board that takes 5v. ttl signal input, and will output a 24v. signal.

This should do it.
