So Im getting ready to build my own bench top cnc using a mach3 gecko set up. Ive recently been informed that some new computors have too low a voltage(something like 3.5 volts)on there parallel ports and that I should try and replace it with one that is more like older computors (5volts) wanted to throw it out there and see if anyone could enlighten me as to if this is a must and maybe recommend a specific card.also if Im gonna use a breakout board that is 3.5 volt compatible, than can I do without the card upgrade.
thanks

any of the breakout board should fix the voltage problem :)
