Title: Problems from lazycam to mach3
Post by: daan.devos1990 on December 15, 2009, 06:10:49 AM
Hello,

When I load a simple rectangular .DXF file from Inventor 11 into LazyCAM and make an offset around the outside, the code that appears in Mach3 makes the machine want to mill the part far beyond the reach of the machine. Even though I made a proper offset.

It seems to me the rapids to the starting point are the problem, but I can't seem to find a way to change those.

Can anyone help me?

Greetings,

Daan

Move the drawn part in CAD closer to the origin before you DXF it. Easiest way.
You can also move the origin in LC.
Optionaly you can leave as is, and manual change the rapid code closer to the part.
