can someone help me on this.
I have my cnc mill and it is working good the only thing I would like it to do is on my rapid moves I wish it could go alittle faster is there a way I could do that
if so can someone tell me or explain were to fix that.

You can always go and change the velocity settings to a higher value until the axis will start to skip steps and work on the fringe of it /maybe not being reliable when / cuttting something. Kind of a loaded question you ask without knowing specifics of your machine.
Try posting some more info.....like:
- Type of motors and info on them
- drives you are using
- type of screws and info on them, including any reductions , etc
- machine size
- Power supply info, voltage / amperage available
- is this a hobbiest situation or industrial
Axis velocity capability is related to all of the above. So as a system there are compromises and it all depends on what you are trying or want to do. So if you are looking for options then post additional info
and i am sure you will get recomendations that will be of more value to you.

BTW, you could always just increase the feedrate if it's code kind of thing.
