Title: does not recognize my Photo interrupt homeswitch on rotary a axis
Post by: tjsnyman on November 27, 2009, 04:38:06 PM
Hi guys Please I  need help,I am stumped  ??? on this one?
My home swith on X ,Y  and z works great, they are in series and on input pin 13.

I put my photo interrupt switch on my rotary axis on pin 11 .
I drilled a small slot in my gear to activate a photosensor and pull pin 11 low

When I physically block the switch with a piece of paper the green light comes on in
Mach3's diagnostics screen (port1 pins current state on top), So I know mach3 recognize the input and it works.
I dont get a light in the input current state lights

I have set my home on pin 11 for  A -rotary axis

Here is the problem When I HOME all my axiz's to reset to zero  they all work except for A .It does not see it.

Did I miss something?
tnx
TJ.

Make sure you have the switch enabled correctly as A axis Home  in Ports and Pins, its easy to forget one of the settings ;)
