Title: R3.042.020 Z after Ref All Home has not been Zeroed.
Post by: SailFl on September 17, 2009, 05:49:20 PM
I only started using R3.042.020 within the last two weeks.  What I am experiencing, is that I do a "Ref All Home", after that the Z is not Zeroed.  Yes, I am looking at the Machine Coordinates.  I have even reinitiated the Ref All Home and it still does not Zero Z.  X and Y are fine but not Z.  I have to restart Mach to get it to work.

With the previous version, I do not remember what that version was, I did not have this problem.

Is this a bug?

Thanks

Are you using the parallel port or some other hardware such as SmoothStepper?

Not heard anyone else with that problem and as its been out a while I would have thought if a bug it would have surfaced before now, then again maybe there is something unique about your setup that is making it happen.
If you want to attach your xml I will have a look and see if I can repeat.

Are you saying it works sometimes? Do you have Auto Zero checked in Config>Homing/Limits?

Gerry,

Good call.  I know before I loaded the new version that AutoZero was checked for Z.  And I have not been in there.  I would have thought that the new version would have used the old configuration.

Thanks Gerry and Hood.
