Title: Brains Non Plugin Modbus Initialization
Post by: JR on September 01, 2009, 01:50:24 PM
There seems to be an issue with Brains and Non-Plugin Modbus..........
I have a Brain Control with a box looking at a modbus input (IE 36)...with a box when equal to 1....to an output 2202 LED....

The problem is that although when viewing the Brain live, the output follows the status/logic of the modbus input on/off as it should ......
However when using the LED in VB script or as an LED in a Screen set.....

The status/logic must toggle once on/off (or off/on)  initially before the LED will follow the input properly.......even though this is not the case when viewing the Brain Control directly....

This tells me that there is an initialization issue .with reading the modbus inputs ( between Mach and the Brain Control) ....when Mach and the Brain Control are first started.

Has this been addressed ?
or is there a work around ?
