Title: Anahiem ac servo, compatible with Mach3??
Post by: learman on August 26, 2009, 01:27:39 PM

Hi
Does anybody know if you can hook up a servo driver from Anahiem Automation and/or how to hook it up?
Will it work with Mach3?  I have the system wired up and can jog off the servo drive but Mach 3 isn't doing anything.
Thanks
Josh Learman

Hi Hood thanks for the help
I do Have it grounded correctly. I have a 2 systems using an Anaheim stepper drivers and they work great.  My next system I wanted to step things up a bit and get a servo system up and running. The rep at Anaheim asked if i checked my signal on a oscilloscope to verify i was getting a square wave and 50% duty cycle.

If you definitely have the wiring correct and the drive is getting the pulse then it has to be a config in the drive. Do you have the drive enabled?
