Title: Motor Configuration
Post by: at6c on August 18, 2009, 09:47:07 AM
On the Motor Tuning Dialog box there are selections for "step pulse" and "dir pulse".  How are these used to setup the motors?  Do they cause mising steps if not properly set?  The examples show 0 in each box; is this a recommended starting point?  Thanks.

Look up the specs of the drives and see what they need. Likely to be low, I have Allen Bradley AC Servo drives and always had it at 0, also on my Bridgeport with G201 drives I have 0. Some people have found they need 2 for G201 drives.
